How to Prepare for Your Dog Shoot

For our shoot, you won’t need extensive preparation or special outfits. I capture your life with your dog, so you can be as natural as possible.

Clothing:
It’s recommended to choose neat clothing in subtle colors. I prefer a maximum of 3-4 colors in your outfit. If possible, your dog should be without a harness, unless it’s part of the shoot concept. If a harness is used, it would be great if it matches your style or is in neutral tones. Bright harnesses are also acceptable; this is just a recommendation.

Leash:
It’s preferable to use a regular leash (not a retractable one). A long, thin leash can also be used, which I can remove during editing.

Accessories:
Don’t forget to bring treats for your dog and toys if she likes to play with them. It’s also good to have water on hand. Additional accessories are welcome—even if we don’t use them, it’s better to have them just in case.

Dog Preparation:
Before the shoot, it’s advisable to walk your dog to help her relax and calm down. It’s also a good idea to bathe your dog beforehand to ensure she looks clean in the photos. I don’t do heavy retouching for dogs in classic shoots, so it’s best to take care of this in advance.

Specific Shots:
If you want to capture any specific moments, please let me know in advance so we don’t forget.

Communication with Your Dog:
It’s important to remember that harsh communication with your dog is unacceptable. I reserve the right to cancel the shoot if I observe any mistreatment.

Tardiness:
If you’re running late, please inform me in advance to avoid delays.

However, the most important thing is to maintain a positive attitude and enjoy the process of the shoot. Let every moment be filled with joy, and may your emotions shine through in the photos!
